Prop 8 and those who hate

The beauty of America is that you are free to think, feel, and believe what you want. These are rights that are not afforded a lot of people in the world.

America is not perfect, it has made a lot of mistakes and continues to do so, but show me a better place to live a better place where anyone can make it by doing there best.

Those who support prop 8 are not supporting traditional marriage, you are supporting hate, ignorance, and discrimination. My marriage is considered "traditional", however, 43 years ago my marriage was against the law and looked upon as "immoral and against God's law". That was ignorance, those who support prop 8 are showing the same ignorance.

Don't you think there is enough hate being espoused? Aren't sick of the vitriol and hate that comes out of TV everyday? Does Shirley Sherrod ring a bell?

Let go of your hate, open your heart to love. It is not about "gay marriage", there is no "gay agenda", and God certainly does not care who you love, as long as you do love. There is nothing about homosexuality in the 10 commandments, and the constitution states that "all men are created equal". This is about equal rights pure and simple. You either believe in the constitution or you like to make up things as you go along.

In the end, you will be left with your hate, bitter and alone while love passes you by.
